I split up with him - have I made the right decision?

Hey hun, I think that you should stick to your guns- its seems as if you're both not right for each other and you both struggle to communicate. I agree, you shouldn't change who you are for anybody. If you;ve both got different views on relationships, it wont work. You're right if you only got back together you would have the same problems, especially if you ignore the reasons you broke up and dont do anything to work through the previous problems. To make a relationship work you need commitment, patience and love. I think what you need to think about it how willing are you to give things another go? How likely is it that you think things will change? If you want to make things work you both have to communicate and talk about your issues and you need to be willing to compromise. Do you love him enough to make things want to work? If you dont love him or feel there's any passion or point to the relationship you'll only be wasting your time. Just do what you feel is right deep down. I think you guys should meet up and talk about everything and see whether its worth giving things another go.
