Religious Tolerance.?

Do you believe that the land of the free is a tolerant nation? IF so why? The US is a capitalist state. On multiple occassions mainly all the bush administrations they referred to athiesm as stupid. The man has a 300,000 education and can't complete a sentence. He uses lies and deciet to make sure he gets his money as well as 99 percent of your politicians. The alabama governor went as far as to say anyone not christian is not his brother (meaning he will do nothing for them, they are lower tan him) and yet all they care about is oil and capital. So again are we tolerant? Why is obamas religion posted on every newspaper but noone seems to care about what else is going on in the capital. SO is it alright to care so much for you faith and then do decietful things to gain wealth because this is all I see.
