Difference between epinephrine and norepinephrine physiologically?

I'm studying for a bio final and I just learned that norepinephrine and epinephrine are only chemically different by the addition of one methyl group. Can someone explain to me how a change that miniscule can cause them to have completely antagonistic physiological responses? Thanks.
